The evaluation method for our language programme is designed to ensure a comprehensive and fair assessment of participants' endeavours. This multifaceted evaluation process involves scrutiny by both experienced lecturers and dedicated supervisors. During the evaluation period, participants have the opportunity to succinctly showcase their learning in the programme. This platform allows for the effective communication of their work, honing their presentation skills.

15-minute presentations for English writing and speaking evaluation

Admission Requirements

This programme is suitable for:

Students who possess B2 or plus level of English language
Age 14 and above

We welcome qualified individuals to join our programme. To ensure a fair and competitive admission process, the programme requires applicants to submit the following documents for admission:

Proof of English:

Students need to have the level of English equivalent to IELTS band 5.5

Please provide any proof of your English ability (could be any of the following: English proficiency test certificate, school transcript, competition certificate etc)

Personal Statement:

A well-crafted personal statement highlighting goals, aspirations, and why you're a perfect fit for the programme (within 2000 characters)

Accommodation

To deliver a comprehensive and enriching experience in Cambridge, all participants are accommodated in different buildings of colleges of the University of Cambridge*. While most accommodation is single/twin rooms with shared, unisex bathroom facilities, dormitory rooms come in different size, shape and style in different colleges. On special request, en-suite single rooms are also available at an additional charge on a first come first serve basis

Summer Language Enhancement Programme Fee:

£3,600 / two week programme

Accommodation for 13 nights in a University of Cambridge* college.
Daily breakfast and dinners, with a memorable distinctive formal dining experience in the Cambridge tradition on the day of the graduation ceremony.
